Sharpsburg Family Worship Center opened in November of 1999. SFWC’s main purpose is to bring Christ’s church in our community. “Giving Hope…Changing Lives…” has been our vision from the start and conitnues to be in everything we do. Our prayer is that you will discover the hope found in Jesus Christ and experience His life changing power in a personal way.

SFWC is a vibrant church that offers a contemporary style of worship and practical preaching that is relevant for today’s life issues.

There is something for everyone of all ages. Throughout the week we offer Children’s Ministries, Velocity Student Ministries, and a variety of Small Groups for adults

If you live in or near Pittsburgh or southwest PA, and you haven’t yet visited the National Aviary in Pittsburgh, you don’t know what you are missing. This is a very cool place to spend an afternoon, for adults and kids. The National Aviary is located on the North Side and admission is very reasonable. Here’s a few words from their web site:

Steelers: Leftwich to undergo surgery on left arm

Steelers quarterback Byron Leftwich broke his left arm Saturday night in the Steelers 34-16 win against Atlanta and he will have surgery today to repair the damage.
